Choosing your first car can be difficult. It’s a big purchase and you want to make sure that you will be happy with it down the road. Having a budget can help narrow down your options. Here are my favorite cars for $8,000 and below, with the car having less than 100,000 miles.
2011 Chevy Cruze
With it’s compact size, the Chevy Cruze couldn’t be a better option for a first car. It comes standard with bluetooth and traction control!
2012 Ford Focus Hatchback 4D
The Focus was redesigned in 2012 giving it a completely new look. With up to 28 mpg, the Ford Focus is a great option for a tight budget. It even comes in a hatchback which gives it a slightly better look in my opinion. With leather interior you will feel like you are in a premium sedan!
2011 Mazda 3
The Mazda 3 looks like it is meant to be someone’s first car. It comes packed with 148 horsepower in the base model and a five speed manual. However if an automatic suits you better you can get it for slightly over 8k.
2011 Kia Soul
Kia really pulled it off when they unveiled the 2010 Kia Soul. Not many companies are able to make a car look this weird yet cool at the same time. The Soul has plenty of room for lugging around friends with an interior that was ahead of it’s time. A cool feature it has is the speakers lighting up to the beat of the song. Although it does not have bluetooth standard, it comes with aux and USB inputs.
